Modern Slavery Policy

Purpose

has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery: no form of forced labour, such as slave, bonded, indentured, or prison labour, will be used or offered. accepts its responsibilities in relation to these rights for people while they are engaged in activities undertaken as part of their employment with . Additionally, is dedicated to ensuring that our business operations, including our supply chains, do not contribute to or support any form of exploitation or forced labour. This policy reflects our moral and legal responsibility to uphold human rights and social justice.

Scope

This policy applies to all employees, contractors, suppliers, partners, labour hire suppliers, and stakeholders associated with and our supply chains, and covers behaviour that occurs in any work-related context.

Definitions

Modern Slavery refers to serious exploitative situations where a person cannot refuse or leave work due to threats, violence, coercion, or abuse. It includes but is not limited to slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, debt bondage, servitude, child labour, forced marriage, and deceptive recruiting for labour or services. It includes situations where individuals are deprived of their freedom and forced to work under exploitative conditions.

Modern slavery can also include underpayment or withholding of payment, inhumane workers living conditions, or exploitation of subcontractors.

Principles

Within , all work is performed voluntarily, in exchange for lawful compensation. At no time will employees and those covered by the scope of this policy be subject to:

Employees are informed in writing of their terms and conditions of employment and maintains documentation as communicated to employees (such as letter of offer, assignment details, employment contracts etc.

maintains complete and accurate records of wages paid and hours worked.

Employees are free to leave their employment at any time, with reasonable notice provided they abide by local legal requirements.

will ensure that all employees are free to move about during the work day to use toilet facilities, drink water, etc. and are free to leave the workplace at the end of their shift.

 

Responsibilities

All employees, those covered by the scope of this policy  and managers are responsible for ensuring that elimination of modern slavery principles is respected. All individuals are responsible for reporting any instances where they suspect another employee, candidate, or someone in the businesses supply chain or other operations is being controlled or forced to work or provide services.

Managers and supervisors are responsible for understanding the legislation and ensuring that the workplace environment is safe and free from all forms of modern slavery covered by this policy and, on an annual basis, prepare and submit a Modern Slavery Act Statement (FOR39) for publication on the Online Register for Modern Slavery Statements

Breach of Policy

A breach of this policy in the case of a supplier or other business involved in the company’s supply chain will result in the termination of their contract.  In the case of an employee, breach of this policy will be dealt with and Standard Disciplinary procedures will apply, refer to Performance Management Procedure (PRO04).
